The goal of my research is to improve in situ bioremediation methods for the treatment of PAH contaminated sites. I am developing both laboratory scale and computational models to predict the efficacy of bio-amendments on PAH contaminated sediments.
I love being able to learn something new every day. Superfund research provides the opportunity to collaborate with and learn about other disciplines.
I want to improve our ability to treat contaminated sites so that they can be restored as a healthy place for life to thrive.
In undergrad, I realized that I wanted to discover new knowledge rather than simply applying what others had learned.
